With theatres, venues, museums and galleries closing, film shoots being postponed and festivals being cancelled, more than half of creative organisations and individuals have already seen a 100% drop in income. 1 in 7 creative organisations who took part in a recent industry survey believe they can last only until the end of April on existing financial reserves. Only half think their reserves will last beyond June.
With this in mind, the Creative Industries Federation launched a campaign calling on government for urgent funding for the creative industries to help creative organisations and professionals who are facing particularly challenging times.
We will be adding more to this page as the campaign develops, so do check back here soon. In the meantime, take a look at the #OurWorldWithout digital campaign taking place on our Twitter and Instagram channels, and make sure you have subscribed to our newsletter so that you can get all of the Federation updates.
